Iran: Trump informs aides of readiness to end war without reopening Strait of Hormuz

United States President Donald Trump has reportedly informed his aides that he is ready to end the ongoing conflict with Iran even if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed.

The Strait of Hormuz is a key passage for global oil supply, making its closure a major concern for international markets.

Reports indicate that reopening the waterway could take longer and extend the war beyond the administration’s preferred timeline.

Instead, the US is said to be considering ending active military operations after achieving some of its strategic goals.

Diplomatic pressure and support from allies may then be used to push for the reopening of the route at a later stage.

The development suggests a possible shift in strategy, as global attention remains focused on the economic and security impact of the conflict.
