An American missionary, Alex Birbir, has strongly criticised the Nigerian government following deadly attacks in Plateau State.

The incident occurred in the Gari Ya Waye community, Angwan Rukuba area of Jos, where gunmen reportedly killed several residents on Palm Sunday.

The attack triggered protests, with residents taking to the streets to demand better security and an end to recurring violence.

In a viral video, Birbir accused President Bola Tinubu of failing to protect citizens, expressing anger over the continued loss of lives.

He questioned the government’s response to insecurity, urging authorities to take urgent action to prevent further attacks.
