Nyesom Wike says the Peoples Democratic Party is set to make a strong showing in the 2027 elections.

He expressed confidence that the party will surprise Nigerians with its performance in the coming polls.

Wike confirmed that the party’s national convention will hold as planned on March 29 and 30 in Abuja.

He noted that efforts to resolve internal disagreements within the party will continue after the convention.

The minister said the PDP is working toward unity and has already zoned key positions across different regions.

According to him, preparations for the convention are almost complete, and the party is ready for the event.
