Nigeria’s Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has said that electricity supply in the country is expected to improve soon as reforms begin to take effect.

He made this statement during a meeting of the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry held in Lagos.

Adelabu noted that recent improvements, including higher power generation, show that ongoing reforms are yielding positive results.

He also explained that repairs to gas pipelines will help increase electricity generation to power plants across the country.

According to him, Nigerians should expect better power supply in the coming weeks as gas supply improves and systems stabilize.

The minister called for cooperation among stakeholders, stressing the need for shared responsibility to strengthen Nigeria’s power sector.
