Rivers APC suspends Fubara over alleged anti-party activities

The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has suspended a party member, Fubara Dagogo, over alleged anti-party activities and misconduct.

The decision was made by the Ward 4 leadership after concerns were raised about his actions against the party’s interests.

Reports say the dispute began after Dagogo filed a legal case challenging the party’s upcoming national convention and internal processes.

He claimed he was unfairly blocked from contesting for a leadership position despite paying the required nomination fee and following procedures.

However, party leaders viewed his legal action as a violation of internal rules, stating that it went against the party’s constitution and discipline.

The suspension is said to be indefinite, with local leaders calling for further action from higher party authorities to address the matter.
