Iran wants me to be their Supreme Leader but I refused – Trump

Donald Trump has claimed that Iran once wanted him to become its Supreme Leader, but he rejected the idea. The statement comes amid rising tensions and ongoing discussions between the United States and Iran.

Trump made the remark while speaking about the Middle East situation, suggesting that Iran is eager to make deals but hesitant to show it publicly. He has repeatedly said Tehran is under pressure to negotiate.

According to him, he declined the alleged offer, saying he had no interest in leading Iran. The claim has not been supported by any official statement from Iranian authorities.

The role of Supreme Leader in Iran is the highest political and religious position, making the claim particularly controversial and widely debated.

Observers note that Trump has made several strong and sometimes disputed statements regarding Iran’s leadership and internal affairs, especially during the ongoing conflict.

The situation highlights the tense relationship between both nations, with ongoing war concerns and negotiations continuing to shape global attention on the Middle East crisis.
