Transfer: Rangers set record asking price for Fernandez

Scottish giants Rangers F.C. are preparing for a potential record-breaking transfer involving Emmanuel Fernandez. The club is reportedly setting a high valuation on the defender after his standout performances.

Fernandez, who joined Rangers from Peterborough United F.C. last summer, was relatively unknown at the time. However, he has quickly made a strong impression in Scottish football.

Top European clubs including Chelsea F.C., Arsenal F.C., and Bayern Munich are now reportedly monitoring his situation closely. His rapid rise has made him one of the most talked-about defenders.

The 24-year-old has featured in 21 league matches for Rangers, scoring five goals from a defensive position. His contributions at both ends of the pitch have boosted his market value significantly.

Reports indicate that Rangers are unwilling to sell unless they receive an offer around €40 million. If completed, the deal would become the highest transfer fee ever received by the club.

Fernandez still has a long-term contract running until 2029, giving Rangers strong negotiating power. His future now depends on whether any interested club is willing to meet the hefty asking price.
