‘Iran dealt enemies dizzying blow’ — Supreme leader says

Mojtaba Khamenei has said Iran delivered a “dizzying blow” to its enemies in the ongoing conflict involving United States and Israel.

In a Nowruz message, the Iranian leader credited national unity for strengthening the country’s response, saying internal solidarity helped weaken external pressure.

The statement came as explosions were reported across Tehran during what is usually a festive New Year period.

Tensions also rose in Jerusalem, where blasts were reported near religious sites including Al-Aqsa Mosque, Western Wall and Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran was being weakened but warned the conflict might still require further military action.

The war has also shaken global markets, especially with disruptions around the Strait of Hormuz, raising fears of wider economic impact.
