Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, says President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda has improved living conditions and strengthened security in Abuja. He praised the administration’s efforts in ensuring a safer and more prosperous environment for residents.
In his Eid message, Wike expressed confidence that the policies would continue delivering positive results, while praying for guidance and success for the nation’s leadership. He encouraged residents to celebrate peacefully and uphold unity across political, ethnic, and religious lines.
Wike noted that the FCT will become a hub of political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections. He assured that the territory will provide a safe and organized environment for political campaigns and public events.
Highlighting the impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda, the minister said economic and social conditions have improved, with safety measures ensuring residents can go about their daily lives without fear during the festive period.
He reaffirmed that security agencies are working round-the-clock to protect lives and property, emphasizing the government’s commitment to making Abuja a top-tier city with efficient public services and development.
Wike concluded by urging residents to maintain peace and harmony, celebrating Eid with unity, while the FCT Administration continues to prioritize the welfare and safety of all citizens.
