Popular businessman and socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, has admitted that not supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the last election was a political mistake. Speaking at a gathering in Imo State, he said he is now focused on cooperating with the federal government to promote development.
Chief Priest explained that years of opposing the government had not yielded results, prompting a new strategy of partnership. He praised Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma for maintaining strong ties with the federal government to drive progress.
He also commended Seyi Tinubu for fostering unity across ethnic and regional lines, describing him as a key figure in strengthening political relationships. Reflecting on the previous election, Chief Priest acknowledged his earlier opposition as a miscalculation.
The socialite expressed confidence that growing support for Tinubu could evolve into one of Nigeria’s largest political movements. He urged Nigerians to embrace unity and cooperation while offering prayers for the president’s continued success.
