Count Peter Obi out of transactional politics – POMR fires back at Bwala

The Peter Obi Media Reach has rejected claims that Peter Obi attempted to reach out to presidential spokesman Daniel Bwala. The group said Obi should not be linked with what it described as “transactional politics.”

In a statement issued by its spokesman, Ibrahim Umar, POMR described Bwala’s allegation as false and misleading. The group said it normally would not respond to such claims but felt the need to clarify the issue to prevent the public from being misinformed.

POMR stated that Obi has always distanced himself from individuals and political practices associated with transactional politics. According to the group, the former presidential candidate focuses on promoting good governance rather than paying people to support his political agenda.

The statement further urged politicians involved in such practices to rethink their actions for the country’s progress. It also emphasized that Obi’s approach is based on persuasion and shared vision, encouraging Nigerians to voluntarily support efforts aimed at building a better nation.
