U.S.-Israeli strikes: Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian sets conditions to end war

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has outlined conditions that could lead to the end of the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States and Israel. In a message shared on social media, he stated that the war could only stop if there are strong international guarantees preventing further attacks on Iran.

Pezeshkian also demanded compensation for the damage caused during the fighting. According to him, any peace agreement must include recognition of what he described as Iran’s “legitimate rights” on the global stage.

Political observers believe these rights could relate to recent leadership developments in Iran, including the appointment of Mojtaba Khamenei as the country’s new supreme leader. The move has attracted international reactions and raised tensions in the region.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump criticised the new leadership in Iran and warned that the situation could remain difficult. Pezeshkian also reassured citizens that the government continues to function despite recent attacks, including a reported bombing near his office.
