APC chieftain Joe Igbokwe has warned opposition figures against wasting time, money, and energy on the 2027 presidential election, implying that President Bola Tinubu is already set to win. He made the comments in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

Igbokwe described any attempt by opposition parties, including PDP, ADC, and Labour Party, to challenge Tinubu as “an exercise in futility,” urging them to reconsider their presidential ambitions.

The APC chieftain emphasized that time, resources, and energy are precious and should not be spent on what he sees as a hopeless contest.

He noted that former vice president Atiku Abubakar, ex-Anambra governor Peter Obi, and former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi have all expressed interest in running for president.
