Even If We Don’t Do P-Square, Can’t We Still Be Brothers? – Paul Okoye Asks His Brothers Peter Okoye

Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has recently expressed his concerns about the strained relationship between him and his brothers. During an Instagram Live session, Paul asked why they can’t still be close as family, even though they no longer work together as business partners. His question sheds light on the ongoing feud among the Okoye brothers.

A few weeks ago, Paul revealed in an interview that his twin brother, Peter Okoye, had filed a petition with Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against him. However, Peter later clarified that the petition wasn’t against Paul but against their elder brother, Jude Okoye. Peter explained that he had discovered Jude was allegedly diverting funds from their joint company into a personal business that he had secretly set up.

In response, Jude addressed the allegations, stating that the money he took was part of his rightful share from their business. He also pointed out that, aside from the joint business, they all own individual companies, and there was nothing hidden about his personal company.

He said,

Even if we don’t do P-Square,  can’t we be brothers? Even if we can’t do music, can’t we be brothers?”

“Like I said I don’t want to talk much. I don’t use to talk before.

“It’s so unfortunate.”

As the case continues to be investigated by the EFCC, Paul’s question reflects the emotional toll that the dispute is taking on the brothers’ relationship. Despite their differences, he hopes they can still come together as family.
