Abba Kabir Yusuf has removed Alhaji Abdullahi Musa from his position as Head of Service in Kano State with immediate effect. The announcement was made in a statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa.
According to the statement, the decision is part of efforts by the state government to improve efficiency, discipline, and overall performance within the civil service. The administration said the move is aimed at strengthening public service delivery across government institutions.
The governor appreciated the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions during his time in office. He also wished him success in his future activities and thanked him for serving the state.
Meanwhile, Hajiya Bilkisu Shehu-Maimota, a Permanent Secretary in the Cabinet Office, has been directed to serve as Acting Head of Service. She is expected to take over immediately while the former head hands over the responsibilities of the office.
