Winnie Miller has publicly rejected a ₦2.5 million payment allegedly sent to her by Eugene Cheta Epelle, saying the money was not requested and that no agreement existed between them regarding any compensation.

In a statement shared with the public, Miller emphasized that transparency is important to her, especially at a time when issues of accountability and justice are being closely watched.

She explained that she has been trying to return the money but has faced difficulties completing the bank transfer. However, she said she is still making efforts to refund the full amount.

Miller also urged Epelle to handle matters openly and properly, stating that she cannot be bribed and only wants the right thing to be done through lawful and transparent processes.
