The Director General of the National Institute for Sports, Philip Shaibu, has revealed the Nigeria Premier Football League clubs he follows closely. According to him, Bendel Insurance F.C., Plateau United F.C., and Rangers International F.C. are the teams he has a special connection with.

Shaibu explained that he has sentimental attachments to the three clubs, which makes him regularly follow their performances in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

He admitted that he was initially worried about the poor start to the season by Bendel Insurance and Plateau United, as both teams struggled in the league standings.

However, Shaibu praised the players for turning things around in recent matches. He added that with their current improvement, the clubs still have a chance to compete strongly for the league title.
