Iran has called on the United Nations to remain neutral amid the ongoing conflict involving the country. Iranian officials said the global body must avoid taking sides and instead focus on promoting peace and stability in the region.
Iran’s representatives argued that the UN should play a balanced role in addressing the crisis. They stressed that international institutions are expected to uphold fairness and ensure that all parties involved in the conflict are treated equally.
The call comes as tensions continue to rise following military attacks linked to the United States and Israel. Iranian officials have repeatedly accused these countries of aggression and urged the UN Security Council to intervene to stop the violence.
Iran also warned that the credibility of global institutions could be damaged if they fail to respond fairly to conflicts. According to Tehran, the international community must take stronger diplomatic steps to prevent further escalation and protect regional stability.
