War: US military sets Iranian drone carrier ship on fire

United States Central Command has confirmed that American forces carried out a major strike on an Iranian drone carrier ship during the ongoing conflict. According to officials, the vessel was heavily bombed and later caught fire as part of broader attacks targeting Iran’s naval capabilities.

Speaking at a press briefing, Admiral Brad Cooper said the ship, identified as the IRIS Shahid Bagheri, is roughly the size of a World War II aircraft carrier. He revealed that the warship was already burning during the operation as US forces intensified strikes against Iranian military assets.

The US military said its campaign has significantly weakened Iran’s navy. Reports from CENTCOM indicate that more than 30 Iranian warships have either been destroyed or severely damaged since the conflict began. American bombers have also targeted multiple locations across Iran.

Officials added that nearly 200 targets, including sites in Tehran, were hit within a short period during the latest wave of operations. According to the US military, Iran’s counterattacks have reduced sharply, with ballistic missile launches and drone strikes dropping significantly since the fighting escalated.
