Dapo Abiodun has officially commissioned Phase II of the Imashayi–Igan-Okoto–Ayetoro Road in Yewa North Local Government Area, promising that the final phase will soon be completed. The governor said the project is part of his administration’s plan to improve transportation and boost economic activities in the region.
During the commissioning ceremony, Abiodun assured residents that the road would eventually connect fully to Ayetoro. He noted that linking rural communities to major towns would make it easier for farmers to move their produce to markets. According to him, infrastructure development remains a key priority for the state government.
The governor also directed the state Ministry of Housing to inspect and renovate the Youth Development Centre in the area. He explained that the renovation would provide better opportunities and facilities for young people in the community. Abiodun added that his administration would continue delivering road projects across all senatorial districts in the state.
Abiodun further praised Bola Ahmed Tinubu for economic reforms and ongoing national infrastructure projects, including the proposed Badagry–Sokoto Highway. He said the road, when completed, would significantly reduce travel time between parts of Ogun State and Lagos, encouraging investment and development.
