Former NFL star Robert Nkemdiche arrested for allegedly smuggling groceries

Former National Football League player Robert Nkemdiche was arrested in Georgia after police allegedly saw him leaving a grocery store with items hidden in his clothing. Officers reportedly noticed unusual shapes under his sweatpants while he was walking out of a Kroger store.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, officers were conducting a routine patrol when they spotted the former football star. The report stated that officers followed him toward a nearby gas station before approaching and placing him in handcuffs.

Police said that when Nkemdiche was detained, the items were no longer inside his clothing. However, officers later found frozen groceries, candy bars and almond milk scattered in the parking lot near the store and gas station.

Although the store reportedly declined to press charges, authorities discovered that Nkemdiche had several outstanding warrants in different states, including three in Georgia. Because of those warrants, he was taken into custody and booked into jail.
