The Opta SuperComputer has updated its prediction for the Premier League title race after a key round of matches on Wednesday. The latest data strongly favors Arsenal to win the league this season.
Arsenal secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion thanks to a first-half goal from Bukayo Saka. The win pushed the Gunners seven points clear at the top of the table, strengthening their position in the title race.
Meanwhile, Manchester City dropped valuable points after a 2–2 draw with Nottingham Forest at the Etihad Stadium. The result reduced City’s chances of catching the league leaders.
Following the update, Opta’s SuperComputer gives Arsenal a 92.84% probability of winning the title, while Manchester City now have a 7.16% chance. Manchester United and Aston Villa, after recent defeats, are no longer considered contenders.
