Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has vowed to ensure justice in the abduction case of Walida Abdulhadi, promising that all responsible parties will face the law. He described the incident as a serious case of kidnapping and assured the public of diligent legal action.
The governor met with Walida’s parents and their lawyer, briefing them on her condition and confirming that she is receiving rehabilitation and psychosocial support at the state’s expense. Trained social workers have been assigned to ensure her full recovery and care.
Namadi also disclosed plans to reintegrate Walida with her family and fully sponsor her education, guaranteeing her continued schooling without disruption. He further assured that economic empowerment support would be provided to her family to improve their living conditions.
The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to protecting citizens’ rights and dignity, while the family expressed gratitude for the swift intervention and comprehensive rehabilitation measures.
