Nigerian Minister Doris Uzoka-Anite has expressed her gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following her redeployment to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning as Minister of State. She called the move an honor and reaffirmed her commitment to public service.

In a statement on Wednesday, Uzoka-Anite praised the president’s confidence in her and vowed to support the Renewed Hope Agenda while delivering measurable results for Nigerians.

The president also nominated Taiwo Oyedele, chairman of the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee, as minister of state, alongside Uzoka-Anite’s redeployment.

Uzoka-Anite was previously redeployed in October 2024 to the Ministry of Finance from her former role as Minister of Trade and Investment, marking her third ministerial assignment in three years.
