Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu assured that the state has no outstanding pension arrears, emphasizing that retirees remain a top priority for his administration.

The governor highlighted that Lagos has cleared all pension liabilities, with retirees receiving their benefits within two to three months if documentation is complete.

Sanwo-Olu reiterated the state’s commitment to treating pensioners with dignity, fairness, and respect for their years of public service.

PTAD Executive Secretary Tolulope Odunaiya praised Lagos for its collaboration and noted nationwide pension reforms under the Defined Benefit Scheme to strengthen social protection.
