Hezbollah Leader Mohammad Raad Killed In IDF Retaliation Strikes

Hezbollah’s parliamentary head, Mohammad Raad, was reportedly killed during Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) strikes on Lebanon, according to Al-Hadath. The strikes targeted Hezbollah operatives after the group launched projectiles toward northern Israel.

The IDF confirmed attacks on senior Hezbollah members and infrastructure in Beirut and southern Lebanon, though it did not officially name all targets. Retaliation came after Hezbollah fired rockets overnight, threatening Israeli civilians.

IDF Northern Command Chief MG Rafi Milo stated Hezbollah “chose the Iranian regime over Lebanon” and pledged continued operations against the group. He emphasized that Israeli forces are deployed along the northern border to protect residents.

Civilians in southern Lebanon are being evacuated ahead of further planned strikes, while the IDF reassures northern Israeli communities that mass evacuations are not currently necessary.
