UCL: Your career will be over – Mourinho warns Prestianni amid Vinicius racism row

Benfica manager Jose Mourinho has issued a strong warning to young winger Gianluca Prestianni over allegations of racist remarks toward Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. The incident reportedly happened during a Champions League clash in Lisbon on February 17.

Vinicius accused Prestianni of making offensive comments, an allegation the 20-year-old has firmly denied. Despite his denial, UEFA handed Prestianni a suspension for the return leg in Spain while investigations continue.

Mourinho stressed that he will not tolerate any behaviour that goes against his values or the club’s principles. He made it clear that if the accusations are proven true, the player’s future at Benfica under his leadership would be finished.

The controversy has added tension to an already heated European tie. As UEFA reviews the case, attention remains on both clubs and the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
