Iran has launched missile attacks on United States military bases in Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, and Kuwait following US and Israeli strikes on Iranian targets. Explosions were reported across the Gulf region, raising concerns of a wider Middle East conflict.
Qatar confirmed that one missile was intercepted by its Patriot defense system, while Bahrain reported that the US Navy’s 5th Fleet headquarters was targeted. Abu Dhabi also heard explosions, prompting heightened security alerts.
In response, Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE temporarily closed their airspace to civilian flights. The attacks underscore the escalating tensions between Iran, the US, and its allies in the region.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely, coordinating with US and regional military forces to prevent further escalation and protect personnel stationed at affected bases.
