Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has urged those who genuinely care for Kano residents to align with President Bola Tinubu and the federal government, stressing that the state has missed significant opportunities in the past. He made the remarks during a courtesy visit from the Ward and Local Government Congress Committee on Monday.
Governor Yusuf highlighted that Kano’s political leaders are now more united than ever and reiterated that his move to the All Progressives Congress (APC) has encouraged political reconciliation across the state. He noted that divided political families are gradually reuniting under the new alignment.
He commended the Ward and Local Government Congress Committee for successfully conducting the congresses across Kano, describing the work as thorough and effective. Governor Yusuf emphasized that integrity, justice, and good leadership are central to his administration’s approach.
The Chairman of the committee, Lantep Dabang, praised the governor for his fairness and guidance during the sharing of positions, calling him a man of integrity and a just leader. The visit reinforced the importance of unity and cooperation between state and federal political structures.
