Siminalayi Fubara has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Barinada Mpigi, describing his death as a painful loss to Rivers State and the nation. He said the late lawmaker was known for his calm nature, dedication to service, and commitment to the welfare of his people.
The governor praised Mpigi’s years of public service, noting that he contributed meaningfully to legislative development and grassroots empowerment. He added that the senator’s legacy would be remembered for his efforts toward unity and progress.
