Kashim Imam, a top official in the African Democratic Congress, has ended his 36-year friendship with President Bola Tinubu. Imam, ADC North East National Leader, said the decision was guided by conscience and faith, citing a rejection of injustice in the current administration.

In a video shared on X, Imam described Nigeria as rich in resources but suffering from poor leadership. He criticised the government for unprecedented injustice and said he now supports Atiku Abubakar in his pursuit of justice and national reform.

Imam dismissed the political power of governors, insisting that ordinary Nigerians hold the true vote. He argued that the poor are increasingly aware of leaders who work for them and those who exploit them.

He concluded by expressing confidence that Nigerians will make the right choice in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the role of justice and fair leadership in national progress.
