The Benue State Police Command has confirmed the kidnapping of 14 passengers by unknown gunmen. The incident reportedly occurred along a major road in the state, causing fear among residents and travelers in the area.
According to police sources, the victims were travelling in a commercial vehicle when they were intercepted by armed men. The attackers allegedly forced the passengers out of the vehicle and took them to an unknown location before security agencies were alerted.
