President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has landed in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, for a three-day official visit. He arrived at Saint Isabel Airport on Wednesday afternoon, where he was welcomed by Equatorial Guinea’s Prime Minister, Mrs. Manuela Roka Botey, and other senior officials.

This is President Tinubu’s first trip to Equatorial Guinea and his 22nd international destination since he started his term 15 months ago. During his visit, he will meet with President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa. The talks will focus on improving cooperation in areas like oil, gas, and security.

The visit will also include the signing of several agreements aimed at strengthening the relationship between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea. Alongside President Tinubu are the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, and other cabinet members, who will help in finalizing these agreements and exploring new opportunities for both nations.

This visit is part of President Tinubu’s ongoing efforts to build diplomatic relationships across Africa and beyond, with previous trips to countries including France, the UK, the US, and Saudi Arabia.
