Kaduna LP chapter hails Nenadi Usman’s Supreme Court victory, urges members to return

The Labour Party (LP) in Kaduna State has welcomed the Supreme Court judgment that affirmed Senator Esther Nenadi Usman as the party’s National Chairperson. In a statement signed by the state chairman, Elder Yusuf Solomon Danbaki, the chapter described the ruling as a turning point that ends a long period of uncertainty and ushers in a fresh phase of unity and progress for the party.

Danbaki praised Nenadi Usman’s leadership qualities, describing her as calm, patient, and resilient, with a strong commitment to justice and due process. He noted that her victory reflects perseverance and integrity, adding that her emergence as the first woman to lead three major political parties in Nigeria is a historic milestone that strengthens women’s representation and leadership in national politics.

The Kaduna LP leadership also echoed Nenadi Usman’s post-judgment message of “no victor, no vanquish,” calling for reconciliation and cooperation among members. The party urged supporters across the state to embrace unity, set aside past disagreements, and work together to rebuild trust and strengthen internal cohesion.

Danbaki further appealed to members who left the party during the crisis to return and contribute to the party’s rebuilding efforts. He revealed that under Nenadi Usman’s leadership, the Labour Party will soon unveil activities leading to congresses and a national convention, steps he said will energize party structures and better position LP to serve Nigerians.
