Manchester United have announced the appointment of Collette Roche to a newly created role as Chief Executive Officer of the club’s new stadium development. The decision was confirmed on Tuesday as part of the club’s wider plans to modernise and regenerate the Old Trafford area.
In her new position, Roche will oversee Manchester United’s involvement in the Old Trafford Regeneration programme. The appointment comes shortly after the official launch of the Old Trafford Regeneration Mayoral Development Corporation, a major step aimed at transforming the historic stadium and its surrounding community.
Roche will report directly to Manchester United’s Chief Executive Officer, Omar Berrada. Speaking on the club’s official website, she expressed pride in being trusted with the responsibility, noting that she looks forward to working closely with the Mayoral Development Corporation and other key stakeholders on the ambitious project.
The announcement adds to a positive week for the club, coming just days after Manchester United’s dramatic 3–2 Premier League victory over Arsenal. The new appointment signals the club’s intention to balance on-field success with long-term infrastructure development.
