Senate President Godswill Akpabio has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the most Christian-friendly leader Nigeria has ever had. Akpabio made the remark while speaking at a public event, where he highlighted what he called the president’s inclusive leadership style and respect for religious diversity.
According to Akpabio, Tinubu has consistently demonstrated fairness in his appointments and policies, insisting that competence and national interest come before religion or region. He said the president’s actions since assuming office show a clear commitment to unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians of different faiths.
The Senate President noted that Christians across the country have continued to enjoy freedom of worship and participation in governance under the Tinubu administration. He added that the president has maintained open engagement with Christian leaders and institutions, which he described as a sign of trust and mutual respect.
Akpabio urged Nigerians to judge leaders by their actions rather than assumptions, stressing that Tinubu’s record shows tolerance, balance, and support for all religious groups. He called on citizens to support the administration’s efforts toward national development and unity.
