The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has explained why motorists are experiencing long queues at the Dangote-backed MRS filling station. According to the association, the high demand for fuel at the station has caused the temporary congestion.

IPMAN noted that the filling station’s strategic location and efficient fuel supply attract many drivers, especially during peak hours. The station is known for providing quality fuel consistently, which has increased its popularity among commuters.

The association assured the public that there is enough fuel stock to meet demand and that the queues are temporary. It urged motorists to remain patient and avoid panic buying, which can worsen congestion.

IPMAN further highlighted that the situation is not unique to this station, as many high-demand outlets across the country face similar queues. They encouraged Nigerians to follow official announcements and use multiple filling stations to reduce waiting times.
