Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has paid glowing tribute to the late former First Lady of Ogun State, Chief (Mrs.) Lucia Onabanjo, describing her as a woman who lived a meaningful and impactful life. He said her death marks the end of an era of grace, service, and dedication to family and society.

He said her support, wisdom, and strength helped shape a generation of leaders and family members who continue to serve the nation.
The governor added that Lucia Onabanjo was known for her kindness, deep faith, and commitment to humanity. He said she used her life to promote peace, unity, and compassion, touching many lives beyond politics and public office.
Sanwo-Olu prayed for God’s comfort for the Onabanjo family and all who mourn her passing. He encouraged them to take solace in the long, fulfilled life she lived and the strong legacy of love, service, and integrity she left behind.
