The Obidient Movement has alleged that former governors of Abia State are working to destabilize the state ahead of upcoming political activities, targeting the All Progressives Congress (APC). The group claimed that the ex-leaders are collaborating to create unrest and weaken the ruling party.
In a statement released on Monday, the movement accused the former governors of orchestrating strategies that could undermine governance and cause political instability in Abia. They urged citizens and stakeholders to remain vigilant against such plots.
The Obidient Movement further emphasized the need for unity among APC members in the state, warning that internal divisions could be exploited by political opponents. They called on party leaders to strengthen grassroots structures to prevent disruptions.
The group also appealed to security agencies to monitor the situation closely and ensure the peace and stability of Abia State are maintained. They stated that any attempt to manipulate politics for personal gain should be resisted.
