Super Eagles coach, Éric Chelle, has warned that Nigeria must put in a very strong performance to defeat Morocco at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. According to him, Morocco are a well-organised side with quality players who can punish any team that takes them lightly.
Chelle said that Nigeria’s recent good form should not lead to overconfidence, stressing that every match at the tournament is a new battle. He urged the players to stay disciplined, focused, and committed from the first minute to the final whistle.
The coach also highlighted the importance of teamwork and tactical discipline, noting that individual talent alone would not be enough to secure victory. He added that the Super Eagles must control the game, manage pressure well, and take their chances when they come.
Chelle expressed confidence in his squad’s ability, saying that with hard work, unity, and the right mindset, Nigeria can overcome Morocco and continue their push for the AFCON title. He called on fans to support the team and believe in their journey.
