Spanish Super Cup: Prize money for Barcelona, Real Madrid revealed after 3-2 win

Barcelona have walked away with the biggest share of prize money after winning this year’s Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia. The Catalan club defeated rivals Real Madrid 3–2 in a thrilling final played in Jeddah, thanks to two goals from Raphinha and another strike from Robert Lewandowski.

Following the final, details of the financial rewards were made public. The Royal Spanish Football Federation will pay Barcelona €2 million for lifting the trophy, while Real Madrid will receive €1.4 million for finishing second in the competition.

Although the money is significant, both clubs are now shifting focus back to domestic football. The two teams will return to Spain to continue their LaLiga campaigns, where the title race is already heating up between the traditional rivals.

At the moment, Barcelona sit comfortably at the top of the league table with a four-point lead over Real Madrid. With many matches still to play, fans are expecting more intense battles between the two giants as the season progresses.
