2027: No more factions in Oyo APC – Oyebamiji

The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ajibola Basiru Oyebamiji, has said that the party in Oyo State is now united and ready to face the 2027 general elections without internal divisions. He explained that past disagreements and parallel groups within the party have been resolved through dialogue and reconciliation efforts.

Oyebamiji said the APC leadership at the national and state levels has worked hard to bring all members together, stressing that unity is the only way the party can regain strength in the state. According to him, meetings have been held with key stakeholders, former rivals, and grassroots leaders to ensure everyone is carried along in the new political direction.

He added that with the issue of factions settled, the party can now focus on building a strong structure, mobilising supporters, and presenting credible candidates for the 2027 elections. Oyebamiji encouraged party members to put personal interests aside and work collectively for the growth of the APC in Oyo State.

Political observers believe the declaration is meant to reassure supporters and attract new members ahead of 2027. Many see the unity message as a strategic move to strengthen the party’s chances in a state where competition remains intense among major political parties.
