Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has confirmed that some suspects have been arrested in connection with the recent attack in the state, while security agencies continue a manhunt for others involved. The governor said the government is determined to ensure that everyone linked to the violence is brought to justice.
Speaking after a security briefing, Governor Sule explained that the arrests followed swift action by the police and other security agencies. He added that intelligence-led operations are ongoing across affected areas to track down fleeing suspects and prevent further attacks.
The governor urged residents to remain calm and cooperate with security personnel by providing useful information. He stressed that peace and safety remain the government’s top priority and that criminal elements would not be allowed to destabilize the state.
Governor Sule also assured victims and affected communities of government support, including security reinforcement and humanitarian assistance where necessary. He said the state would continue working with federal authorities to strengthen security and restore full normalcy.
