NDIC takes accountability, transparency seriously — MD, Sunday

The Managing Director of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), Mr. Sunday, has said that the organisation places a high value on accountability and transparency in all its activities. He explained that the agency is determined to build public trust through honest and responsible management of funds and operations.

Speaking at a recent event, Sunday noted that NDIC is strengthening its internal systems to prevent corruption, waste and abuse. He added that regular audits, monitoring and reporting are being used to ensure that every process follows due procedure and best practices.

He also said that NDIC is working closely with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to promote openness and compliance in the financial sector. According to him, this cooperation helps to protect depositors and maintain stability in Nigeria’s banking system.
