The Kaduna State Government has explained why the state ranked highly in the latest ease of doing business assessment. According to the Commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology, the result reflects years of reforms aimed at making it easier for investors and small businesses to operate in the state.
He said the government focused on simplifying business registration, cutting down approval timelines, and reducing the number of agencies entrepreneurs have to deal with. Digital platforms were also introduced to allow businesses to register, pay fees, and access services online without unnecessary delays.
The commissioner added that the state worked closely with the private sector to identify challenges faced by investors and address them through policy changes. This cooperation, he said, helped improve transparency, reduce corruption risks, and build confidence among local and foreign businesses.
He noted that the government would not relax its efforts, stressing that the goal is not just to rank high but to create a stable and friendly environment that supports job creation, economic growth, and long-term development in Kaduna State.
