Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has strengthened grassroots governance by providing SUVs to all Local Government Chairmen in the state. The gesture is aimed at improving mobility and efficiency in local administration.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, Abiodun emphasized that the move is part of his administration’s commitment to supporting local governments in delivering better services to the people. He said the vehicles will enable chairmen to visit communities more frequently and address citizens’ concerns promptly.

The governor also highlighted that effective governance at the grassroots level is critical for overall state development. He encouraged the LG chairmen to use the SUVs responsibly and ensure they enhance service delivery.

Local government leaders expressed gratitude to Governor Abiodun for the support, noting that the vehicles would significantly improve their ability to implement developmental projects and engage with residents more effectively.
