Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has expressed confidence that the Nigerian national team will continue to improve as they play more matches together ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. He said regular games will help the players understand each other better and build stronger teamwork.
Ndidi explained that the team is still in a building phase, with new faces joining and different tactical ideas being tested by the coaching crew. According to him, playing competitive matches allows the players to adapt faster, correct mistakes, and grow in confidence both individually and as a group.
He added that the recent performances show positive signs, even if the results have not always been perfect. Ndidi stressed that what matters most now is learning from each match and using those lessons to improve ahead of tougher games in the tournament.
The midfielder urged fans to be patient and continue supporting the team, noting that success comes with time, consistency, and hard work. He assured Nigerians that the Super Eagles are committed to making the country proud at AFCON 2025.
