The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced the temporary closure of its National Secretariat as part of the year-end break. The decision was made to allow staff and party officials to observe the Christmas and New Year holidays.
According to Bolaji Abdullahi, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, the Secretariat will close on December 23, 2025, and full operations will resume on January 5, 2026. During this period, only essential skeletal services will remain active.
All other official activities at the Secretariat will be suspended until the New Year. The ADC emphasized that the temporary closure is standard procedure to give staff time off and ensure smooth resumption of operations afterward.
The party expressed gratitude to its members, supporters, and partners for their loyalty and cooperation throughout the year. ADC reaffirmed its commitment to democratic engagement and its ideals as it prepares for activities in the coming year.
