The Ugborodo community has renewed its call for justice following the killing of a resident identified as Onuwaje. Community leaders and youths said they are deeply pained by the incident and will not rest until those responsible are brought before the law.
Speaking during a peaceful gathering, residents urged security agencies and the government to speed up investigations and ensure the suspects are arrested. They stressed that silence or delay would only encourage more violence and insecurity in the area.
The community also warned against attempts to cover up the case or protect anyone linked to the killing. According to them, justice for Onuwaje is important not just for the family but for the safety and peace of the entire community.
Ugborodo leaders appealed to the authorities to show seriousness by prosecuting the offenders openly. They said this would restore confidence in the justice system and send a clear message that crimes will not go unpunished.
