The Jigawa State Police Command has confirmed that an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) was injured during a raid on a criminal hideout. The operation, aimed at dismantling a gang responsible for multiple crimes in the state, was carried out by the state police tactical unit.
Police sources revealed that the ACP sustained injuries while leading the raid and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities stated that despite the injury, the operation successfully disrupted the criminal network and recovered weapons and other illegal items.
